Watercolor Updates - Jeff Good

Watercolor Update

Jeff Good

We've asked another of the watercolor artists we have interviewed to update us with some of their newer work. This week, Jeff Good sent along these new images. Members can see our earlier interview with Jeff here:  Voices of Experience - Jeff Good.

One of the things Jeff wrote that has resonated with us and must resonate with all landscape painters is why he believes plein air painting to be so worthwhile:

   "
It takes longer than a photograph which gives you time to slow down and take in your surroundings. It requires you to see in more depth, and what you see is different than what the camera sees. And the unexpected pleasure from doing this is your interaction with people passing by, often times locals who assume you are not a tourist because you are not pointing and shooting."
